COMTF Annual Meeting 2010

The COMTF annual meeting will take place June 8-11, 2010, at Dominican University in San Rafael, CA. The first day will feature nursery issues and a field trip to the new NORS-DUC facility on the Dominican campus, with an afternoon wildland field trip to view a decade of disease at China Camp State Park. The second day will include presentations and discussions on the latest P. ramorum findings and management implications, including new finds on conifers and in waterways. The meeting will conclude with a review and discussion of the 2010 Research Needs Assessment.

Created in August 2000, the California Oak Mortality Task Force (COMTF) is a nonprofit organization, under the California Forest Pest Council, that brings together public agencies, other nonprofit organizations and private interests to address the issue of elevated levels of oak mortality.
